One of TPP Healthcare's clients is a Private GP based in South West London. They are looking for polished and well-presented Medical Secretary with previous experience in the Private Healthcare sector to join their team for 9 months.

As a Medical Secretary you will provide all non clinical support to one Private GP but also be on hand to help with reception when required.

Ideally this role is to start on Monday 13th November

Full Time

Hours - 9/9.30am - 6.30pm

Fixed Term Contract - 9 Months

You will be;

  • Extremely well presented and professional
  • Available to work Monday to Friday 9.30am - 6.00pm
  • Excellent communicator (face to face & telephone)
  • Highly organised, proactive and ability to use your own initiative
  • Committed to providing an excellent level of service
  • Previous Medical Secretary experience in the private sector
  • Be a team player
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise a busy workload without direct supervision

Duties included (but not limited to);

  • Audio and copy typing
  • Greeting patients and visitors on arrival
  • Dealing with queries over the phone and face to face
  • Incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, hospitals, solicitors and other professionals
  • Attending meetings and minute taking
  • Booking appointments and follow ups
  • Repeat prescriptions
  • Process Insurance reports
  • Scanning, message taking, filing, reports, billings
  • Ensuring the correct charges are allocated to the patient's invoice and that an invoice is raised for each patient
  • Adhere to practice procedures, guidelines and confidentiality
