TPP is excited to be recruiting for a new niche major gifts/philanthropy role with for a large children's charity. The role will have an income portfolio of between £100k and £1 million and will manage both existing and new donors.
The role will be split between the Major Gifts and National Services (the section of the charity which oversees children's services including social services) teams. The purpose of this is to engage wealthy donors with the work the charity does. There is buy in for this new role across the organisation - from National Service team members up to the CEO, and there is plenty of scope to really make this role your own.
To be successful in this role you will have experience of having solicited large gifts, so you will be comfortable working with High Net Worth Individuals. You will be at ease working with facts and figures and able to distil key points effectively. You will need to be a strong networker with the ability to influence colleagues across the National Services team. You will need to be articulate in translating or summarising their language to donors. In other words, you will need to be a good internal diplomat who can hold gravitas. Finally, you will be able to multi-task and act upon your own initiative.
