£37,483 - £40,217 increasing to £43,889 per annum

Our client is currently delivering over 80 projects across the UK to support children, young people and their families to find long lasting solutions to the challenges they face in life. At any one time the charity reaches out to over 35,000 children and young people who face; poverty, abuse problems, offending and other social issues. As an organistaion committed to the belief that every child deserves a childhood, they work towards 3 core values which are the backbone to how they deliver these projects.
As one of two Practice Improvement Managers you will be responsible for providing a professional, responsive and collaborative approach to practice improvement, working with the charities managers and team to identify areas in need of improvement to ensure the very best outcomes for children and their families. You will also be involved with the bid writing team to provide an operational perspective of service delivery requirements, including establishing new models of delivery and team working. A very large part of your role will include ensuring Safeguarding practice meets organisational and national best practice at all times. There is an element of quality assurance involved as you will be assessing and inspecting the services to ensure all new practices are implemented and working.

There are some criteria you will need to meet in order to be considered for this job. As a core member of the service delivery senior management team you will be expected to have experience of working with a good depth and breadth of children’s services. Being a qualified Social Worker is a requirement for this role due to the safeguarding element. Your experience within management will be inspiring and to others as well as your ability to motivate and drive others. In return, the charity will work with you to develop additional skills and give you the autonomy to make necessary changes.
