A University in London committed to high-quality teaching and research are looking for a postgraduate admissions officer on an interim basis.
You will join the Postgraduate admissions team whose role is to process some 30,000 applications to postgraduate taught and research programmes per year. This will include responding to enquiries from potential applicants, giving advice about entry requirements and qualification equivalences, ensuring that all applications are considered and processed in accordance within a complex internal and external policy and regulatory framework. Admissions Officers also support the selection of applicants, making offers under delegated authority where this is agreed with the relevant academic school. You will be responsible for processing applications and, where appropriate, make selection decisions in accordance with agreed policy and procedure.
In order to be successful for this role, you will have recent experience of working in postgraduate admissions, particularly processing international applications. You will be familiar with SITS and have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines, and to prioritise workloads effectively. Knowledge of UCAS procedures and UK fees and awards regulations would be beneficial.
