An experienced Policy and Public Affairs Manager is required to join a health charity based in London for a fixed term contrct. This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who can demonstrate their ability to project manage and communicate with external audiences about public health, nutrition, cancer, research and life sciences. You will have the experience of working at a global level where you can promote effective policies that contribute to the prevention of cancer and a healthier lifestyle.
Essentially you will be required to demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate detailed scientific research through necessary channels whilst keeping up to date with current research and developments in this area and to facilitate cancer prevention. It is essential that as a Policy and Public Affairs Manager you have a particular strength in reviewing evidence and understand the effects of policy and policy actions.
You will be able to demonstrate a high level of stakeholder management and experience in developing and communications policy with a focus on reviewing and keeping abreast with scientific literature, government reports and scientific developments in this area.

- Writing policy briefs
- Liaising with communications teams
- Writing publications
- External Presentations
- Communicating via social media channels
- Assist in preparing acaemic publications
- Engaging with audiences through website
- Support the Head of Policy and Public Affairs
