TPP is working with a national children’s charity to recruit a Philanthropy Manager. This is a full time and permanent role is based working from home in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or Surrey.
You will be part of a regional team who fundraise for gifts of £5,000 or more with an emphasis of getting gifts of £50,000 to £1million+. You’ll manage a portfolio of around 50 HNWIs/charitable trusts and foundations and your job will be to build positive relationships between them to maximise the amount they donate.
Key skills and experience:
- Experience of building and managing effective fundraising/income generating relationships with high level individuals and/or organisations with proven skills in making successful major gifts requests/winning new business preferably through face to face interactions.
- Excellent written and verbal (phone and face-to-face) communication skills sufficient to deliver effective fundraising pitches, ideas and project updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way.
- A proven track record of achieving financial targets
