A leading and vital national charity are currently actively seeking a bright, switched on and experienced Philanthropy Manager to look after the Midlands and North of England area. The role will be based from your home and a car will be provided for your work but you must obtain a full valid driving licence.
This role requires an excellent networker, capable of building and maintaining strong personal relationships with a wide range of individuals, both externally and internally. The successful candidate will already have a proven track record in a fundraising or sales environment, and highly advantageous would be a solid understanding of philanthropic giving, engaging with high net worth individuals and experience of 'making the ask'.
The successful candidate will also have an ability to work in isolation as well as part of a geographically dispersed team, and have the drive and tenacity to meet challenging financial and performance targets.
Location of this role is flexible within the Midlands or the North of England, but the successful candidate will be required to travel extensively within the region to meet key stakeholders, and occasionally to the South of the UK for meetings. A willingness to travel (with some overnight stays and occasional evening/weekend work) is therefore essential, as is a full driving license. A vehicle will be made available to carry out your duties.
