A well-loved and established hospice in Crawley is seeking a Philanthropy Manager. As a hospice, the ambition is to help everyone who faces death be informed, supported and pain free. They pride themselves on providing pioneering standards in end of life care through research and training.

The Role

You will develop and manage the hospice's income, stewardship plans and relationships with trusts, legacy pledgers and corporate partners. Essentially you will oversee the operational delivery of income from corporate partnerships and manage the Philanthropy Team to deliver income from trusts and legacies. Additionally, you will lead the legacy programme ensuring all staff and volunteers get involved.

Person Specification

You will have a good track record in managing corporate fundraising/securing five figure gifts. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to produce compelling proposals. You will also be competent at reporting on income and expenditure. You will hold a driving license and be willing to work unsociable hours when required.
