The TPP Fundraising and Development team are supporting a much loved national children's charity with the search for a Partnership Development Lead. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, this role will focus on business development including, but not limited to, strategic and multi-year collaborations, sponsorship, charity of the year and employee fundraising, and cause-related marketing. The role can be home-based, although there will be a need for occasional travel to London. There is also a willingness to consider flexible working patterns.
The main purpose of the job is to:
- secure partnerships at the level of c£50,000 and above by ultilising high-quality pitching and stewardship
- develop a robust pipeline, conducting due diligence and cultivating opportunities for new partnerships and recognising opportunities for growth in the existing portfolio
- craft and present appropriate propositions that align with prospects' objectives and the charity's strategic objectives, reflecting the needs of unrestricted and restricted income
- develop and implement a yearly activity plan as part of the wider team to co-ordinate pitches, applications, reports and other activities to achieve targets
To be considered, you will possess considerable experience of managing corporate partnerships across strategic partnerships, cause-ralated marketing and employee fundraising and a strong track record of securing partnerships at the level required for this role. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to absorb and understand complex issues and then be able to communicate them effectively and sensitively to a variety of audiences. You will have excellent organisational skills, have proven experience in developing and maintaining budgets, and be details oriented.
