I am working with a small national charity on a temporary part time (up to 22.5 hour per week) HR Coordinator role covering maternity for up to 12 months. The charity helps young people become more active and engaged with society. This is achieved by educating them about law and politics through a number of different channels. The charity equips teachers and schools to help motivate the young people and provide them with skills and knowledge that will add value to their local communities.

The charity has around 20 employees and a large number of volunteers that support the charity on a daily basis. Their office is located near Aldgate and you'll be part of a HR team of two. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in a wide range of HR generalist duties.

The main duties of this part-time HR Coordinator job is to advise and update on HR policies and to work with managers on important HR issues. The post holder will update the monthly payroll information and support on the charity's recruitment process, arranging interviews, dealing with applicants and acquiring references. The HR Coordinator will attend trustee meetings where you may be required to take minutes. Finally, you will play a key role in the onboarding of all new starters who join the charity.

My client is looking for an experienced HR professional who is CIPD qualified. Experience of working in the sector would also be beneficial
