Office Assistant/PA - Temporary

The Office Assistant will provide administrative/organisational support to the UK team. Main duties for this role involve a high level of support to the Regional Director.

Our client an international social justice charity are seeking some interim support for approximately 2 months to start ASAP, they have a small team based in central London and this will be supporting the team as a whole.

Key responsibilities:

PA to Regional Director

  • Intense diary management for the Regional Director
  • Filter Regional Directors mailbox and respond to enquiries (in liaison) * Organising travel arrangements and appointments
  • Convene meetings - correspond with participants, find appropriate meeting dates, book meeting rooms and arrange catering
  • Prepare papers and packs for meetings

Office Support

  • Act as contact person for our partners and other contacts
  • Organise and prepare staff meetings
  • Manage all issues related to office administration, supplies and systems
  • Supporting the Grant Managers in their work
  • Handle incoming grant applications and process these in our databases
  • Prepare and provide data analysis and reports

Experience and requirements

  • Three or more years of administrative experience in a professional environment
  • Sound IT skills, in particular related to databases as well Office 365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype for Business
  • Excellent English writing and oral communication skills
  • NGO experience is considered an advantage

Employment Type: Temporary 1-2 months

Salary/rate: £14.00 - £16.48ph depending on experience

Working hours: 35pw
