This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading not for profit organisation, who are looking for an ambitious and driven candidate to provide various administrative duties within a quality and operational capacity, supporting their centres.
The Operations Assistant will have strong written and communication skills to effectively provide telephone and administration support to their small team and who is prepared to undertake an advanced apprenticeship in administration (similar) with their full support.
Provide support to centres on all operational functions including, registration, certification, centre management system usage
Act as the central user and controller of our centre management system
Act as first point of contact for all enquiries, ensuring issues are delegated in the appropriate manner
Provide feedback as required on operational matters to the team where required
Provide assistance with all external events
Setting up new centres, users and qualifications on the internal intranet to assist with approvals
Organise meeting room/ outings, facilities and functions
Deal with internal and external post
Occasional minute/ action taking
Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, and encourage a culture of communication, trust, team-working, accountability and ownership in accordance with values
Uphold principles of equality, diversity and organisational values in quality management in accordance with regulatory requirements
Administration experience, ideally in an educational/professional body organisation
Educated to A level
Effective co-ordination, reporting and communication skills
Practical experience in the use of ICT systems
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external colleagues, customers and stakeholder organisations
Ability of understanding of office systems and application of continuous improvement principles
