Like writing? Love fashion? Then join Oxfam working as a Volunteer Online Copywriter.
Being a Volunteer Online Copywriter for Oxfam means writing short, appealing and accurate online adverts for items of quality, pre-owned clothing to be sold on Oxfam's online shop at www.oxfam.org.uk/shop. You'll be detailing the type of clothing as well as its fabric content, style and special features, measuring the items' dimensions, and noting other info such as care/washing instructions, before uploading the relevant photos so that the item is ready for sale online. Confident writing ability, basic computer skills and enthusiasm are helpful, though full training for the role will be given.
Not only will you get to put your skills to work, but you'll have something valuable to add to your CV, gain personal references and get experience of working in a real commercial set-up. What's more, you'll get first-hand insight into how a major international charity like Oxfam works, while playing your part in combatting global poverty. So join our team - you'll be glad you did.
