Our client, a leading educational charitable foundation based in the heart of London have a excellent opportunity available for an experienced Office Manager who is after line management and has provided support to governance. This will be on a full time permanent basis and offers a competitive benefits package, including 30 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays) .

As Office Manager you will be responsible for:

* Managing a team of administrators and ensuring a smooth running office (70 people)
* This remit will include office supply, landlord, tenant and equipment oversight
* Work with HR, oversight of relevant health and safety, IT, data protection and staffing policies
* Lead on annual staff away days and social activities
* Your team will also be key in general meeting coordination and various facilities
* Work alongside the Governance lead in providing a high level of secretariat support
* This remit will include secretarial support to Boards and Committees

The key criteria the client is looking for:

* Must have very high attention to detail
* Have excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to form productive working relationships with diverse groups including trustees, senior managers, and senior stakeholders
* Had have previous office manager experience
* Some knowledge of governance would be very desirable
* Have successfully managed a small team of staff
* Produce high quality, concise and accurate written material with minimal supervision, including meeting agenda, minutes, reports and correspondence
* Manage efficient systems of administrative and correspondence record keeping
* Demonstrate confident and expert use of the internet and Microsoft packages
* Be highly motivated, energetic and proactive, with the confidence to work independently
* Be a collaborative team player. Calm under pressure with the ability to work flexibly
