TPP is pleased to be recruiting a New Business Officer for a social welfare charity which supports the armed forces community, including veterans and their families. The position is permanent, paying £29,390 (including £4,452 London Weighting) and based in Central London.

This is an exciting time to join the charity with many milestone anniversary events coming up. You will join a team of 8 working alongside another New Business Officer reporting into the Senior New Business Manager. Most of your time will be spent prospecting and pitching for new business opportunities including charity of the year. The charity has an excellent track record of developing innovative partnerships. This includes developing bespoke chocolate bars with Cadbury's, to dog collars with Pets at Home. With the 75th VE Day occurring in May and the charity's centenary next year, they aim to build on this success with new inspiring partnerships.

In order to be successful in this role you will have a sound understanding of the charity fundraising landscape and experience of securing new business in a charity, marketing or sales role. Additionally, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage and enthuse prospects with the aims of the charity. Finally, you will have good research and creative skills in order to create bespoke proposals for corporate organisations and audiences.
