TPP are working with a national children's disability charity to recruit for a New Business Executive for their London fundraising team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a team which has a great selection of projects and products which are very appealing to corporates. The New Business Executive will take ownership of a membership programme for the leisure and retail industries; product development and marketing of current products (eg disability awareness training); strategic opportunities; corporate grants £20k+ and COTY applications. The new business will be conducted in a thoughtful and strategic way, rather than phone-bashing (although you will need to be willing to undertake the full sales cycle when required), and you will be able to write and lead on pitches and meetings where appropriate - this is not a hierarchical charity.
We are looking for someone from corporate fundraising within the charity sector, or with transferable sales skills, who has successfully won new business in the form of a range of partnerships, ideally commercial and philanthropic. You will have an intelligent and targeted approach and will be able to sell over the phone, face to face, and via written proposals. You will have experience of winning partnerships or deals worth 5 figures +.
