A leading Professional Body who develop world class leaders, teachers and trainers in the Further Education Sector are recruiting for a National Head of Safeguarding and Prevent, on a Part Time basis, 17.5hrs per week.
As the National Head of Safeguarding and Prevent, you will be the be the policy lead and expert on the area, building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, negotiating grant, providing expertise into bidding and leading on curriculum design work for the area.
Reporting into the Director of Curriculum, you will be responsible for being the expert in Safeguarding and Prevent and will use your expertise and knowledge to review existing provision and develop effective support measures for the sector.
To be considered for this role, you'll need to demonstrate skills, understanding and abilities in the following areas;
-Clearly able to demonstrate expertise in Safeguarding and Prevent
-Experience of curriculum design
-Ability to work with a wide range of external stakeholders to design and build professional development programmes
-Have a strong understanding, knowledge and experience of what makes professional development in an education and training environment effective
-Experience of working with credibility across the Further Education and Training Sector and/or with government officials and departments
