A leading Professional Body who develop world class leaders, teachers and trainers in the Further Education Sector are recruiting for a National Head of English and ESOL to join their Curriculum Design Team who design and develop professional development programmes.
As the National Head of English and ESOL, you will be the policy lead and subject expert on the area, building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, negotiating grant, providing expertise into bidding and driving professional development curriculum design work for the area.
Reporting into the Director of Design and Development, you will be responsible for being the subject expert in English and ESOL and will use your expertise and knowledge to identify and develop high quality learning resources across various elements of the organisation's provision.
To be considered for this role, you'll need to demonstrate skills, understanding and abilities in the following areas;
-Clearly able to demonstrate expertise in teaching English and or ESOL in the FE sector
-Experience of curriculum/CPD design or staff development
-weighty and current knowledge of education policy and practice
-Ability to work with a wide range of external stakeholders to design and build professional development programmes
-A strong understanding, knowledge and experience of what makes professional development in an education and training environment effective
-Highly motivated and a creative thinker with strong problem solving skills
If you have experience as a Senior Leader in the Further Education and Training Sector and/or with government officials and departments, you will stand out from the crowd!
