A well-established national charity are seeking an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to join them for a 3 year fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have strong monitoring and evaluation experience and will be used to leading and managing a small team.


Main duties for the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager:
Evaluation & Planning;
Design overall evaluation framework to work across all 5 funded projects
Write evaluation plan, advise on methodological design and process
Data collection;
Train service users on evaluation methods
Discrete pieces of data collection and analysis for the partner
Design a range of data collection tools
Evaluation analysis & reporting;
Work with coordinator to conduct analysis of quantitative data from monitoring systems to inform evaluations
Review all evaluation processes

Essential criteria for the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager:
Project management skills and experience
Ability to manage large and systematic caseloads
Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods
Ability to take analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
Knowledge of designing research methods
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Experience of undertaking research and evaluation projects using qualitative and quantitative methods
Experience of overseeing data collection
Experience of training staff on data collection tools and systems
Experience of presenting findings to a range of audiences
Knowledge of questionnaire design, producing and analysing data sets
