TPP are proud to be working with a charity that ensure young people with cancer and their families get the support they need. Due to a recent promotion an opportunity is now available for a MIS Analyst.

This role offers the opportunity to develop into a Developer.

50% of this role is helpdesk management and 50% will be assisting the developers or taking on small projects.

Do you have some experience dealing with complex database systems SQL based? Do you have the ability to communicate well with users? You could be someone that has a computing degree with some customer service or helpdesk experience.

The purpose of this role is to provide database and application support for all teams. This involves being the initial point of contact within the Technology team for any application support issues and taking the necessary action for resolution. To undertake technical administration and maintenance of systems. To work on database and application projects, assisting the database developers in system improvements.

Some of the day to day duties will involve responding to MIS support requests according to SLAs, and work towards continual improvement of team KPIs and Administer the MIS helpdesk app, taking ownership of the system for ongoing improvement, and producing regular reports. You will provide user support for application, prioritising and responding to user requests to proactively assess support needs as required and deliver solutions to enquiries.

To take on application development pieces of work or mini-projects including interpreting new business requirements, proposing and implementing agreed solutions and coordinating roll out and acceptance by users. You will maintain database technical procedures inc. daily routines and back-ups.
