A Flexible working opportunity for an experienced membership professional to join a diverse charity institute is now available. This is a full time; permanent role that only requires you to go into the London office if there is a business need and provides flexible working options. Reporting to Head of membership you will have responsibility for two membership administration posts and one fellowship officer.

As the Membership Operations Manager (Retention) you will work closely with the Head of Membership and other senior managers within the Membership department and will be expected to maintain strong ties with the charity's wider dynamic and passionate team. One of the main focuses will be to seek to utilise the full potential of their CRM to streamline processes to improve the member experience.

You will also coordinate the charity's plan of action to ensure continued member growth, support the recruitment and lead the onboarding of new members as they start their journey within the organisation. You will help the Membership department to have a long-term membership strategy and evaluating and implementing changes to a membership structure as the needs of the organisation and members' demand evolves.

To be considered for the role you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experiences.

* Has great functional/technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.
* You are a data-driven membership professional who is confident using a complex/effective CRM to drive decision making around onboarding and retention strategies.
* Proven experience of relationship building alongside delivering engagement plans to drive demonstrable retention and growth.
* Managing assessment processes and procedures, ideally in a membership or professional registration context
* Practical and thorough knowledge and understanding of managing membership processes
* A high level of practical and organisational skills
