They are looking for a Membership Manager to cover a maternity leave.
This role would support the sales and marketing process through the administration, documentation and communication of all procedures involved in maintaining a clean and up to date database as well as management of
Some of the main duties and responsibilities:
:Act as first point of contact dealing with all membership enquiries to agreed standards and procedures.
:Target suitable contacts currently held in the email databases to recruit new members.
:Work with the Head of Event Management and Marketing to create the strategy for development of the membership proposition.
:Develop and manage direct marketing campaigns to recruit new members and retain existing ones
:Process all new membership applications, renewals and payments (including Direct Debit) to the agreed procedures and service level standards.
:Prepare and send out welcome packs to new members ensuring these packs are available at all times.
:Optimise retention rates by ensuring regular and timely communication members.
:Devise new digital and print marketing campaigns.
: Produce quarterly newsletter
:Work with Communications Department on in house social media campaigns.
: Manage and replenish stock of marketing materials and membership pack collateral for the membership office and tickets desk.
: Regularly check, replenish and update marketing materials across the site.
: Liaise with external suppliers on design and production of membership marketing materials and membership pack collateral.
:Prepare and input data required for monthly BACS collection, providing this information to the Finance Department as required.
: Devise and maintain processes that lead to effective business controls including, but not limited to, the recording of all prospect details and joiner details.
: Accurately capture member details and update database as required.
: Maintain all suspended member records, updating as necessary.
: Produce regular reports on areas such as membership sales and renewals for the Head of Event Management and Marketing and other internal stakeholders
:Create and manage a membership events calendar with no fewer than two events per month.
: Manage member events, sometimes working out of the general working hours.
: Ensure feedback questionnaires are sent out no later than 24 hours following an event.
To be successful in this role you will need:
1. Proven experience in the set up and administration of a membership scheme
2. Proven experience of office administration
3. Proven experience of working on acquisition and retention marketing campaigns
4. Proven experience of managing membership events
5. Knowledge of BACS and proven experience of processing Direct Debit instructions
6. Proven experience of the management of databases
7. Strong and effective oral and written communications skills
8. Excellent organisational and time management skills
9. High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
