A professional society is looking for a temporary Member Services Assistant to join their small but dynamic team of 3 on a temporary basis for 6 months. They are looking for a self-starter with administrative and customer services skills to support the Member Services Team, which includes Membership, Volunteering, Events, Careers, Marketing and Diversity.

This role sits within the membership team, and you will have a focus on handling day to day administration processes. You will be one of the first points of contact for UK members and will ensure they receive excellent customer care by email and over the phone. You will also provide support across the wider team including meeting management and administrative support to ensure projects get over the line.

You will be joining at a busy time and during a period of transition for the society. You will be an organised and efficient administrator with high attention to detail. You will be someone who has previous experience of delivering administration and customer services in a business-to-business setting, whether at another professional body or within a corporate organisation. The role includes significant contact with senior stakeholders and so you will be a confident and strong communicator with a passion for delivering excellent service on time. You will be resilient and adaptable, able to juggle multiple tasks and maintain calm under pressure.

The society is dedicated to creating a diverse environment which values a range of different personal and professional experience. They are open to candidates who may not have direct experience of this type of role but who demonstrate the skills, talent and enthusiasm they are looking for. A longer-term opportunity is available for candidates who are successful in the temporary role.

A laptop and phone will be provided, and the role currently works remotely but candidates will need to be flexible and attend the office when they open on a part time flexible basis as required by the needs of the team and business. Please apply today!

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
