TPP Healthcare’s client based in the South Wimbledon/Raynes Park area and caters for 26000 patients, through 14 partners; our client is currently seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join the team at their beautiful premises. The successful candidate will be providing a range of administrative functions, utilising relevant IT systems and excellent people skills to support the delivery of a high quality service.
Provide Audio, copy typing and word processing for GP’s and other health proffesionals
Typing letters, reports, memo’s and chasing referrals
General administrative duties
Answering patient telephone and email queries
Locating medical records and assist in completion of medical insurance records
Communicate effectively with all team members, patients and carers
Receive and dispatch mail
Recent NHS working background and system knowledge of EMIS WEB
Medical Secretary experience
Attention to detail
Great team player as well as have the ability to use your own initiative
Excellent audio typing skills (60 wpm)
Excellent medical terminology knowledge
Ideally this role will start temporary and become permanent for the right candidate, however they will consider perm only applicants
