The TPP Fundraising and Development team are supporting a leading London-based independent school with the search for a Major Gifts Manager. This is a part-time role (2 days per week) and has come about as a result of the restructuring of the fundraising and alumni function within the School. An exciting development plan is in place, and a variety of projects are on the horizon. With significant funds having been raised over the last two years, this role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to build on this initial success.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- maintaining and increasing income from a portfolio of potential Major Donors from across the School community
- regularly representing the School externally to donors and key stakeholders, organising and attending events and face-to-face meetings
- identifying new prospects, putting in place strong cultivation and solicitation plans and stewarding current and prospective donors

In order to be considered for this role you will be a strong team-player, excited by the prospect of being part of the development of the fundraising function within the School. While you may have experience of fundraising in private schools, candidates with experience in other sectors will be considered. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles of Major Gift fundraising, a track record of having developed successful proposals and cases for support, and exceptional relationship building skills.

To apply for this fast-moving role, please reply to this advert with an updated CV in the first instance. Alternatively, contact Matt Adams on the TPP Fundraising and Development team for a confidential discussion.
