TPP is working in partnership with an international animal charity to recruit a part-time Major Donor Manager. This a 3 days/week, permanent position based work at the head office in London.
This charity is a widely respected authority on animal testing issues and is the leading organisation aiming to change the way people think about experimenting on animals.
You will create, implement and deliver the organisation’s major donor fundraising strategy, ensuring that sustainable income growth is achieved year on year
- Develop and implement a major donor fundraising strategic plan, delivering income and expenditure forecasts on an annual, three year and five-year basis.
- Deliver effective major donor engagement programmes by building on the loyalty of existing donors.
- Approach and develop potential new high value donors, with the ability to make donations worth £2,500 plus, including personally soliciting donations or supporting the
CEO to do so.
- Drawing on support from across the organisation, design compelling cases for support, to enable the development of substantial new major donor initiatives that drive income growth
You will be expected to have extensive experience of major donor fundraising, with the ability and confidence to inspire support among new and existing high value donors. You will also have a demonstrable strategic and creative approach to developing new and effective fundraising approaches.
You can expect a warm and welcoming environment, with support across the organisation as well as senior management.
