Opportunity to join a friendly, successful team and to develop Major Donor fundraising - part-time (3 days p/w), home-based (or hybrid home/London base), 12 month contract with view to extension.

The TPP Fundraising team are working with a brilliant children's health charity to support the search to a part-time Major Donor Manager role (3 days per-week). Working as part of a friendly, collegiate team, this is a role that build on previous successes with Major Donors in a role that focuses exclusively on this income stream for the first time. The role can be home-based (at the FTE salary of £29,926),or work from the London office (Hybrid home/office base - salary £34,318), and as this is a trial of a new role, the position is being recruited on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role will focus on generating sustainable long term income to fund the charity's work - through the acquisition and cultivation of high net worth donors. This post will also be responsible for the implementation and delivery of an ambitious major donor fundraising strategy, with the aim of increasing net income and expanding the prospect pipeline. Specifically, you will:

- Identify, cultivate and steward major donor relationships to deliver maximum long-term impact and income;
- Produce and develop fundraising contact strategies, engagement activities and campaigns to maximise donor lifetime value and experience, striving for a significant gift;
- Manage and develop an enduring prospect pipeline, building long term relationships with a range of high net worth individuals;
- Lead on all engagement activity, such as donor communications, funding proposals and events. This will include developing, designing and presenting targeted funding proposals and creating reports tailored to individual donors. Your work will be informed by insights from research and database analysis.

To be considered for this role, you will have a successful track record in delivering four-figure gifts through approaches to Major Donors and growing new mutually beneficial relationships raising £5,000+. You will have experience of segmenting a prospect pipeline, and knowledge of prospect pools, trends in giving and undertaking prospect research. You will also have exceptional face to face interpersonal skills, superb stewardship/communication skills and be comfortable working as part of a smaller fundraising team.
