A specialist Chartered Institute based in the heart of London with a UK and international focus are recruiting for a Manager for their Live Assessment team which have responsibility for the assessor recruitment, training and appointment as well as ensure that all assessment activities are rigorously conducted, securely managed, delivered to published deadlines and within budget.
As someone who has a track record of qualification development, training and examination management within an awarding body or similar, you will have extensive experience and understanding of different assessment methodologies, experience of quality assurance systems within an awarding body or similar and knowledge of regulatory frameworks for qualifications in order to review and streamline assessment processes, procedures and documentation as well as actively manage, review, update and monitor processes and procedures related to the marking and moderation aspect of all qualifications.
You will also be a hands on and proactive people manager with extensive experience of line management and staff supervision to ensure that team members receive regular feedback, coaching and support as well as be able to conduct an in depth analysis of assessor capability and identify additional requirements and develop and maintain targeted assessor recruitment campaigns.
You will have excellent attention to detail, an understanding of customer service excellence and the ability to focus on targets and results by adjusting workloads and priorities including being able to initiate, develop and complete projects to tight deadlines.
