A stand out international, accomplished and highly effective animal charity based in the heart of London are currently actively recruiting for an experienced Legacy Marketing Manager for a one year fixed term contract.

The role will be pivotal within the Fundraising Team to drive specific initiatives that will support both marketing to warm supporters as well as wider prospect groups and stewardship work.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

*Managing activity that builds and stewards legacy enquirers and productive pledger relationships to maximise long term legacy income.

*Working with the Corporate and Community Manager to ensure community fundraisers are trained on legacy marketing and stewardship and able to deliver on a range of legacy KPIs.

*Planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating specific and agreed activities, projects and promotions to encourage supporters to leave a legacy to the charity's work, and to steward enquirers and pledgers.
Specific potential projects:

a. Delivery of one major project (live streamed, celebrity led panel discussion).
b. Work with the Legacy team to scope and seek approval for an overseas trip with supporters to create legacy related exhibition materials and other assets.
c. Assess, scope and plan 'thanksgiving event' for delivery in following financial year.
d. Review pledger tags and associated stewardship plan, ensuring liaison with individual giving team to manage contact levels.
e. Implement, monitor & develop new enquirer stewardship plan, ensuring liaison with individual giving team to manage contact levels.
f. Build on current press & digital advertising tests, developing a cohesive strategy for 20/21.

*To collaborate with other Fundcomm peers on the development of an events and stewardship programme designed to raise funds, recruit new supporters, deepen engagement with existing supporters and promote legacy giving.

*Working with the Corporate and Community Manager, set, manage and control Legacy Fundraising expenditure budgets and prepare quarterly budget reporting.

*To track and report against all KPIs, including development and retention.

*Work closely with the Senior Legacy Officer (Administration) to ensure technical enquiries from enquirers and pledgers are appropriately handled and that stewardship of lay executors and other beneficiaries recognises the importance of legacy income to the charity's work.

*Work with the data team to build reports enabling better analysis of data, for segmentations and in order to streamline processes within the Supporter Care team to ensure the best supporter experience.

*Lead, manage and motivate 2 members of staff engaged in legacy marketing and stewardship, including planning, supervision, team meetings and communications, and Performance & Development Reviews, ensuring they have objectives, financial targets and KPI's derived from the strategy.

*To respond positively to opportunities for legacy marketing or stewardship arising from the charity's wider activities.
