Part of the Fundraising Department, the Legacy Fundraising team is responsible for promoting gifts in
Wills to our supporter audience, the general public and members of the church associated with this charity. You will
act as an advocate for legacy giving by working across the organisation to ensure the legacy message is
communicated effectively to the charities audiences and church members. The role is also
responsible for helping to develop and maximise in memory giving with the aim of increasing this
income stream. With a fundraising programme encompassing acquisition prospecting and stewardship,
this is a great opportunity to work across a range of activity as part of a small and dynamic team.

You will be reporting to the Legacy & In Memory Fundraising Manager. The successful applicant will be a
passionate fundraiser and play a key role in delivering the Legacy & In Memory Fundraising
programme. You will be responsible for helping to secure and maintain pledges from individuals
through a range of activities including direct mail, email and participation in external campaigns, and
also for assisting in the delivery of the In Memory giving strategy.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Experience of working in a fundraising or marketing environment, strong organisational and
communication skills, ability to analyse data, excellent attention to detail and how to prioritise a
varied workload and keep to tight deadlines. In addition to these practical skills, the candidate should
also be able to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity. This is a great opportunity for someone who is
