A leading University in London requires extra support for their Learning Solutions team for an anticipated 3-month period. This is a temporary, full time role (35 hours per/week) to provide general administrative and project support and assistance to Learning Designers and Learning Technologists in the development of new online learning content.

This role is currently working from home, with a view to returning to the offices in September. The client requires you to have your own equipment to use at home.

Role:

  • Assisting Learning Designers in creating documentation around reading lists and video production plans.
  • Assisting Learning Technologists in organising and uploading content to the Virtual Learning Environment.
  • Supporting Production and Project Managers in updating documentation relating to project progress, tracking and reporting
  • Supporting video production staff in contacting and liaising with external contractors
  • Supporting and assisting media developers in organising and creating media content

Experience and personal qualities:

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to co-ordinate multiple and inter-related activities.
  • Previous experience of working with Technology Enhanced Learning tools and services
  • Good problem-solving skills with a willingness to engage with issues and find solutions.
  • Excellent standards of communication, interpersonal, presentation and liaison skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the UK Higher Education sector.

Technical knowledge and skills

  • Experience and knowledge of Moodle.
  • Ability to use electronic project tracking/collaboration systems.
