Are you an assessment design and delivery specialist within higher or professional education?

A growing membership body in central London who provide professional development, guidance, career opportunities and thought leadership are now looking for a Learning and Assessment Lead to join the team in this new role.

While you may be based anywhere in the country, you will need to be able to travel to central London at least 2 days a week.

As the Learning and Assessment Lead, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of the organisation's assessment models, taking a user-centred and modern approach to assessment design and working within nationally recognised qualification frameworks. You will also lead assessment delivery via online platforms and manage the end-to-end assessment process, supported by your team consisting of an Assessment Manager, two Administrators and other colleagues.

Your role will also work alongside colleagues to undertake reviews for all learning products, sourcing and working with subject matter experts and advising on changes or improvements to assessment methods to ensure the organisation is meeting changing learner expectations.

To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of the assessment function and assessment frameworks within professional membership bodies with experience of developing and delivering high stakes exams/assessments under strict guidelines and regulations, including in an online environment. You will also use your management experience to manage budgets, a team and external stakeholders.
