This well-established national youth charity are recruiting an experienced Lead Alternative Education Tutor.
You will provide hands on development and delivery of accredited programmes for alternative curriculum learners, mostly between the ages of 14 and 16 who have been excluded from mainstream education for SEMH reasons.
This is a large charity, with an inclusive and progressive working culture. Children, young people and families are at the heart of their mission, with a particular focus on the needs of children who find themselves on the fringes of society and needs support. You will feel like an integral part of the organisation from day one.
You will enjoy the benefits of working within a very well recognised charity, and in a role where a flexible approach and travel across Sussex and Guildford will make your days varied and fulfilling. An interest in alternative subject areas such as mechanics, health and beauty, catering etc., would be highly beneficial.
