TPP are working with an innovative and entrepreneurial not for profit that are recruiting for talented individuals to join them in an integral role as a Lead Account & New Business Manager.  There is both a permanent post and a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity based in London working within a new growing team with a UK wide remit.  Our client is seeking professionals who can demonstrate proven content and context knowledge in the urban mobility, built environment and technology arena.

Main duties for the Lead Account & New Business Manager:

Develop new relationships and project opportunities involving partners.
Work towards a multi million pound target in revenue generated through project proposals.
Lead the development of project proposals, plans and commercial opportunities into high-value projects.
Create strategies to develop short and long term revenue streams.
Effectively communicate value propositions to stakeholders.
Contract negotiation and ongoing assessments of customer needs.
Cultivate lasting relationships with high-profile stakeholders, including city leaders, city officials and corporate clients looking to innovate city space.

Essential criteria for the Lead Account & New Business Manager:

Proven ability at establishing relationships and developing networks within a similar group of stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Track record in a project-led environment including commercial development and portfolio management.
Demonstrable experience forming relationships with blue chip clients.
Extensive experience working in a similar environment with relative proven achievements.
Awareness of the built environment and/or technology area, ideally in relation to leading innovation projects in cities.
Highly desirable: background or qualification in engineering or equally relevant.  Alternatively any form of consultancy relative to urban space.
Show a relentless focus on success in delivering for cities.
