Salary: £22,254 - £27,090 rising incrementally annually & inclusive of OLW

A University based near Hendon Central (northern line, 26 minutes from Kings Cross) are currently seeking to appoint 10 x Junior Admissions Officers to join their existing team on 12-month fixed term contracts asap.
Full time (35.hrs p/wk), part-time and flexible working applications will be considered. Flexibility is required to work some Saturdays and evenings (paid overtime) during busier periods.

Initially you will be based in the office full time for induction and training and then a hybrid arrangement of 2 days in the office, 3 days remote will be in place.
There is potential for contracts to be extended by 12 months or even become permanent thereafter. Starting salary is £22,254, rising incrementally annually up to £27,090pa

Purpose:
Reporting to the Admissions Business Partner you will process applications to the University in an accurate, efficient and timely way. Evaluating entry qualifications, residential category and visa requirements on applications, you will make decisions on applications within a framework of guidance and maintain information about applications on the student records system, ensuring that this is correct and current.

Main duties include:
*Process applications to University programmes
*Make decisions on applicant's residential category status
*Create the relevant records on the system for students ensuring that information is accurate, complete and that all relevant documentation is kept on file.
*Prepare documentation for DBS checks.
*Work towards individual targets and deadlines in relation to application processing.

Essential experience required:
*Educated to A Level standard or equivalent or possessing equivalent and relevant experience
*Experience of working in administration in education sector
*Experience of working in further or higher education
*Familiarity with the UCAS applications cycle
*Knowledge of UK qualifications and awards
*Intermediate skills in MS Office including Excel
*Organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workload
*Attention to detail and ability to manipulate small pieces of data with accuracy and focus

Desirable:
*Experience of working in admissions and using student records systems
*Knowledge of international qualifications for Higher Education
*Familiarity with rules governing residential category (fee status) assessment
