Investigating Committee Co-Ordinator, Temporary – 6 months

£13.07 - £15.37 per hour (depending upon experience)

Our client an established regulatory body, are currently recruiting for an Investigating Committee Co-ordinator to join the busy team up until the end of October 2016. This role will be reporting into the Senior Committee Co-ordinator. Key duties and responsibilities whilst in post are outlined below;

Roles and responsibilities;

  • To support the Senior Committee Coordinator, in listing cases, distribution of the papers to members and spot-checking the accuracy of paperwork such as bundles and addenda
  • Drafting high quality correspondence to the department’s various stakeholders and complainants and registrants for approval by the Senior Committee Coordinator
  • Administer a caseload of high priority cases under the guidance of a senior committee Co-ordinator
  • Manage workload to ensure tasks are completed in line with set deadlines
  • To provide consistent, high quality customer service
  • Manage large quantities of sensitive information
  • To act as a ‘first point of contact’ for enquiries; to analyse and interpret incoming complaints
  • To ensure that incoming post and email correspondence into the department is accurately recorded and distributed
  • Work closely with caseworkers and others to ensure documentation is accurately compiled, amended and disseminated
  • To facilitate the running of Investigating Committee meetings, including preparing the room and providing support throughout the day as required


  • Processing invoices and liaising with the finance department to ensure any team costs are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Researching and maintaining a good working knowledge of stakeholder and other regulatory bodies
  • Any other tasks that are equivalent to your role and grade

Essential experience;

  • Knowledge of working in a regulatory environment or in a similar post involved in high level administration
  • High standard of written and spoken English for responding to queries clearly and accurately
  • Experience of maintaining databases and other records
  • An understanding of the importance confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload
  • Good IT skills including MS Office products and some use of databases / CRM’s  
  • Excellent attention to detail
