I am currently working with an animal charity based in London. Our client have a passion for animal welfare and are looking for an interm Internal Communications Officer who can support their cause and join their Internal Communications team during a busy period.
You will be joining the team at a busy time and need to have a hands-on approach to your work where you are accustomed to working to deadlines and delivering on and off-line communications to a high standard. You will be responsible for writing and editing copy from internal meetings, interviews, stories and announcements based on the global internal communications strategy. The team also produce a newsletter that is distributed internally. As Internal Communications Officer you will be responsible for collating research and information around this and producing the newsletter. This is a varied role for an internal communications officer with strong presentation skills and the ability to work confidently with stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong writing skills are essential for this role along with experience of using Sharepoint, InDesign and MailChimp.
