My client, is an International Humanitarian organisation who hold a strong commitment to their goals.  It has been an eventful last couple of years for the organisation and are continuously adapting to the growth that they have undergone.  They are now looking to recruit a HR Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Where there is change, there is also consistency, and that comes in the form of their office culture, which boasts a very friendly and independent ethos.  In terms of the office itself, it is a modern open plan setting where all staff members, including directors sit amongst each other.  This reinforces their inclusive culture in which all staff communicate freely with each other. 

The salary for this role is paying in the range of £36,000 - £42,000 with some great benefits.  These include flexible working hours, a generous pension scheme and free lunch provided once weekly.

As the department is now catching up with the organisation's recent growth, they are now looking to ensure that ad-hoc solutions, often happening at short-notice, are considered as they streamline their processes further.  Further changes in 2017 include the implementation of a new HRIS system and as a core team member, you will spend your time improving processes for routine HR activities.  We appreciate some of the language could be new to you, but our client is very open minded regarding your professional background and I am more than happy to talk you through the role in more detail.

You will play an active part in contributing to the strategic development of the overall HR strategy as well as manage Employee Relations casework and advising the Head of HR on any implications of new legislation.  This will be an ideal role for anyone with a strong knowledge of UK Employment Law legislation.  As you settle in to the role, you will be involved in developing and implementing HR policies & procedures and drive continuous improvement in the provision of HR support, identifying improvement opportunities.
