Our client is a renowned national charity, this organisation in particular boasts both an open-minded and enjoyable working culture. Most importantly, I am keen to stress the warm and friendly atmosphere within the team, which extends beyond to the rest of the offices & wider organisation.
TPP have previously placed a number of candidates across this charity and now the HR team is looking to recruit their next Interim Head of HR for a period of 3 months to ensure they have the right people, in the right place, at the right time. I would also like to highlight that a permanent Head of HR will eventually be advertised by this charity at a later date, in which the successful Interim candidate would be welcome to apply for.
As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic objectives and business plan of the charity. Reporting in to the Associate Director of People & Facilities, you will spend your time working with the Associate Director to deliver their people plan.
You will effectively manage budgets and third party supplier contracts, as well as certify that people management is compliant with legislation and best practice. In addition, you will also be accountable for ensuring that the use of technology is optimised to improve the experience of end users, empower line managers and minimise bureaucracy.
This will be an ideal role for those of you with an excellent working knowledge of UK employment law. You will also inherit line management duties with the supervision of a HR Administrator therefore previous experience of overseeing staff would be beneficial.
