Job title: Interim Financial Consultant
Duration: Ongoing temporary role (3 months minimum)
This is a newly created financial consultant role working for a membership association based in central London. With over 42,000 members, across the UK this professional membership body not only sets industry standards across UK they also offer academic and trade union support to its members. This existing finance team of 8 people are split into two main divisions, one which covers the charitable finances and another who look after the finances of the Ltd, and enterprises.
This interim financial consultant role will work in conjunction with the Ltd/ enterprises and will report to the head of corporate services. The post holder will review existing processes, procedures, templates, and systems to implement and improve existing processes.
Applicants for this role will be qualified accountants who have a proven track record in similar role ideally within a not for profit sector, but an understanding of commercial, Ltd enterprises will be a huge advantage. This role will suit a results driven finance consultant who has bettered service delivery by improving financial processes. Prior experience of using an accounting software such as Great Plains, and Excel is essential.
This role is to start at the end of June so applicants must be immediately available or on short notice.
