One of UK's largest charities based in West London (Richmond) is seeking a Finance Manager for a 6 month's fixed term contract. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration the Finance Manager will be required to look after the overall finance operations and will have ownership of financial reporting and controls. In addition, the successful Finance Manager will be required produce the monthly management accounts and maintain the balance sheet, P&L, and cashflow forecasts.
Together with the Director of Finance, existing processes and procedures will need to be reviewed, and implemented, and the successful candidate will also assist in the production statutory accounts, and the entire audit process ensuring compliance with SORP requirements.
A very important part of the Finance Manager's role will be to business partner with stakeholders across the business including sites based in Northern Ireland and Wales.
Applicants for the position of Finance Manager must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role ideally within charities and the not for profit sector, as well as very strong business partnering experience and skills. Ideally applicants should also be qualified accounts and have prior experience of system implementation.
