Job title: Interim Finance Manager
Duration: Up to 3 months
This Not for Profit Organization work towards rehabilitating prisoners and aim to reduce and prevent reoffending by running programs, educational courses inside prisons. In addition, they help with accommodation and offer counseling specially with drug and alcohol related issues.
This interim Finance Manager role is newly created position to assist with audit deadline, yearend accounts and to advise board of trustees.
As part of the longer-term strategy the successful candidate will be required to review and implement existing processes and procedures and suggest ways to improves services and procedures.
This is to be achieved by reviewing templates, journals, control accounts, budget accuracy and identifying gaps as well system efficiencies.
Qualified accountants, with experience of leasing and leading on audit process, advising board of trustees meet the basic requirements for this role and must not hesitate to in applying. In addition, any experience with financial modelling, systems and strategy implementation is very relevant and strongly preferred.
