The UK's largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people are seeking a Information Governance and Security Analyst for a permanent role.
The charity's services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship. Worldwide, their global alliance of partners supports disabled people into education and employment, and works in more than 50 countries.
In this new role you will support the charity in the identification of personal and sensitive data processing activities, ensuring they are undertaken in accordance with the principles of GDPR and information/cyber security best practice.
You will support the design, implementation and ongoing management of an information security management system and its component parts, as well as assist with the co-ordination, completion and project management of the annual NHS Information Governance submission.
You will undertake a range of IG and security project management activities and support the establishment of clear and effective IG and Security training and awareness materials for the organisation of over 6000 staff.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly regarded charity bringing your experience or knowledge of NHS IG Toolkit, ISO27001 standards and/or cyber security practice, as well as your experience or knowledge of Data Protection legislation and its requirements.
You will have highly developed IT and project management skills and good attention to detail.
