Income Admin officer - Temporary position for 3-5 months
Rate: £12.82 PAYE + Holiday Pay
TPP is currently working with a major Housing Association which provides high quality and affordable homes to rent and buy. They operate mainly in Essex and East London and provide a wide range of services.
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Income team and to provide a first point of contact for residents with standard rent queries and to manage a small arrears patch.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role will be to manage rent and associated queries from residents and be able to explain the legal obligations of paying rent and the consequences of non-payment. As part of the Income Team, you will also be involved in administrative support duties such as processing all correspondence, managing the rent payments through direct debits and other payment methods, ensuring all housing benefit payments and schedules are accurately processed and processing invoices. In addition there will be some case management duties such as managing low level arrears cases and preparing legal paperwork.
The role is full time, 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of helping customers with rent arrears and managing low-level rent arrears cases as well as a good knowledge of Housing Benefit issues and Housing legislations.
