We are currently recruiting for a HR Projects Lead. This is a full-time permeant position with the option of hybrid working. You will be based in either London or Cardiff. It is desirable that you are CIPD level 7 but not essential and we would welcome applications from CIPD Level 5 qualified candidates.
This is an exciting opportunity that has arisen to work for a trade union with membership of close to half a million
£43,263 per annum, plus £4,611 London Weighting per annum if applicable
Role
The role is based in the People & Organisational Development Department. As the HR Projects Lead you will deliver innovative and ground-breaking people policy and project work which contributes to the enhancement of the provision of People & OD services. This will include developing and reviewing people policies, processes and practices to ensure legal compliance and best practice across the employee journey
Duties
- Maintain best practise by evaluating & reviewing employment policies and procedures.
- Act as a specialist point of conduct in relation to employment policy and practice.
- Review of employment policies and practices making sure the organisations are aware of any changes in UK employment legislation and practice.
- To conduct research related to employment policies and procedures.
- Work with colleagues to develop and deliver training materials, tools and templates.
- Devising and delivering relevant communication plans in collaboration with the Internal Communications team.
- Map, analyse, review and streamline end-to-end processes
- Develop and undertake people projects.
- Identify and analyse corporate issues or trends within the wider organisation relating to the employee journey.
- Design, develop and implement people solutions that address actions emanating from insights, either to mitigate critical risk or capitalise on opportunity using a broad awareness of organisational knowledge.
- Provide confidential guidance & advise to all member of staff relating to employment relations enquiries
- Work closely with colleagues achieve objectives.
