Sitting within the core of the team, you will spend your time supporting the delivery of a proactive HR service to ensure all staff are paid correctly and on time each month.
You will gather, collate and process all staff hours on a monthly basis. In addition, you will be able to ensure new starters and leavers are processed through the system in each payroll period. As you settle into the role, your remit will widen. Your responsibilities will expand to include being the fire point of contact all recruitment enquiries, amalgamating and sending out applications as well as looking to continuously improve the diversity and quality of candidates by reviewing recruitment materials.
This is an ideal role for those of you with meticulous attention to detail, for calculating holiday pay on a monthly basis and running financial payroll reports. Your audience will be both student staff and management, dealing with written and telephone queries and responding to written correspondence.
