I am working alongside a non-profit care home charity who are looking for a HR Manager to join their friendly and professional HR team on a one-year FTC. The position is paying £46,000 per annum and they are looking to have someone in post by September 2021. The world class care that the charity offers ranges from compassionate residential, nursing, dementia, respite and end-of-life. They have two state of the art care homes across London, one which opened in May 2021.

The offices are located in both south-west London and north London and the post holder will be required to travel to both. The HR Manager role allows you to work one day a week from home as well. You will Manage a small HR team where you will report into the Director of HR on a daily basis.

The main purpose of this HR job is provide effective HR generalist support to the organisation and its staff. You will develop and update HR policies and provide employee relation advice to managers. The HR Manager will Support the HR Director on HR projects and in developing appropriate strategies . Furthermore, you will play a key role in conducting and writing up investigation reports, attending grievance/ disciplinary and sickness review meetings when required.

My client is keen to employ someone who has a passion for the non-profit sector and has supported at a HR Manager level before. It would be beneficial to have previously worked for a charity or a care home. You will need to be comfortable at working from different sites/offices and this role would suit someone who is ambitious, has a positive attitude to work and excellent communication skills.
