I am working in partnership with an international charity on an exciting permanent French or Portuguese speaking HR and Recruitment Advisor position paying £42,095 per annum. The charity helps prevent dangerous diseases from spreading across under privileged countries around the world. They work across Africa and Asia with communities, governments ,academic institutions and local organisations. This influential permanent HR and Recruitment Advisor role will support managers and staff in Africa, providing extensive HR knowledge and expertise on a daily basis.

This is a brilliant time to join the charity as they have a number of exciting HR projects coming up over the course of the next few years. You will be part of a HR team which is located at their London Headquarters in East London and you will play a key role in the HR team. The HR team is friendly and outgoing and my clients looking for someone to complement the team. The organisation uses Cascade so the HR and Recruitment Advisor will need to able to use the HRIS to capture key information.

The main duties of this important HR generalist position include providing advice and guidance to managers and colleagues in the countries you cover. This will involve reviewing and updating HR policies, dealing with performance management issues and safeguarding. You will also lead on all recruitment within the countries that you cover and help on those that don't have a HR presence. Finally you need a strong knowledge of UK Law and supervising payroll, ensuring no mistakes are made.

The post holder must be fluent in English , French or Portuguese. The HR and Recruitment Advisor will need be confident at working at a distance and happy to travel abroad when required. You must be CIPD qualified to level 7 or above and have supported at a HR Advisor level previously. It would be very beneficial to have non-profit experience, working for INGO would be particularly helpful.
