TPP are delighted to be working with a forward thinking growing Charity to recruit their Head of support services.

This role is intially a 12 month contract with a view to going Permanent.

This charity started in 2013 as a social enterprise providing a range of award winning support and training services. In 2020 they made a significant change to their organisational structure and transition to a registered charity. They are focused on building and strengthening the organisation and reaching more individuals in need.

Do you have a professional qualification in social care or mental health, and have a proven track record and relevant experience to manage community and support services, helping those impacted directly or indirectly by addiction?

Do you have an empathetic approach? Are you able to communicate with all types of people? Are you someone that is happy to get stuck in? Comfortable talking to clients, stakeholders, executive level with different forms of engagement?

Key responsibility will be managing all aspects of support service provision and helping to shape and achieve the delivery of the new community strategic plan and support pathways. This includes responsibility for the performance, development, and operations of existing and new programmes, ensuring that governance, safeguarding, and outcomes standards are met. Monitoring and data management and reporting are key aspects to the role, as is financial and budgetary oversight.

The role will require a mix of premise management and virtual working. Premises and virtual workspaces should be positive, safe environments, maintained to health and safety requirements, and managed
in-line with organisational policies and procedures. Crucially, the post-holder must strive to achieve antidiscriminatory practice and ensure that the diverse needs of communities and individuals are recognised,
valued and addressed.

A key member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to the leadership of the charity and be a passionate advocate for our mission and work.

Stakeholder management will be a significant part of the role, helping the Chair and CEO to foster and nurture those relationships.
