A globally renowned awarding and professional membership body are recruiting for a Head of Qualifications to develop, implement and review the organisation's portfolio of professional qualifications to ensure their offering remains robust, relevant and adheres to regulatory requirements.
As a strong people manager, you will lead on the design and development of qualifications to ensure they are relevant to the target markets and consistent with the organisation's brand. You will also implement a strategic, agile and robust approach to qualification development across all learning opportunities and create opportunities for growth in the non-regulated qualifications and global markets.
As the Head of Qualifications, you will monitor qualification performance and review and develop an appropriate and up-to-date assessment strategy across all the organisation's learning products. By monitoring trends and developing business cases you will improve assessment methods in a cost-effective manner in line with current best practice. You will also oversee the recruitment, retention and reporting of an experienced examiner and assessment team to ensure that as an Apprenticeship EPAO, the organisation is fully compliant with regulations.
To make a success of this role you will have demonstrable senior management experience within an assessment role and a comprehensive understanding of academic and learner-focused assessment methodology. As someone who has developed high-quality, demand-led qualifications in response to marketing insight and strategy and the supporting assessment strategy, you will also have experience of leading and managing effective teams.
